The Drenthe pilotproject aimed to make an inventory of the threats and opportunities for farming in the Veenkoloniën, a former peat district in Drenthe.

The Danish project participants have published a report suggesting 17 specific locations for constructed mini wetlands as well as a guide for location of constructed mini wetlands.

On a workshop in Halland, Sweden, the partners presented and discussed learnings and recommendations from each pilot.

The Aquarius project held a transnational seminar and partner meeting with as titel “Farmers as water managers adapting to climate change”. All partners and external experts came together in Zeegse, Drenthe (NL) for this three day event.

The German part of the Aquarius project "Smartly Smooth the Way for Water" is aimed at protecting the ground water body and the flow conditions of the creeks while farmers have enough water.

Thanks to the Aquarius Project, awareness of the warious environmental problems in the North Sea region is increasing.

Recent workshop in Norway highlights the advantages of cooperation across borders when it comes to finding solutions to climate changes and environmental problems.

From 3 to 6 March 2010, 30 people met in Uelzen in Niedersachsen.

The baseline research focused on the following themes: ecological, economic, sociological, policy & legal, and climate in all seven pilot areas. The baseline research has led to each partner preparing conclusions for their own pilot regions.
